Creating synergy by combining talent is just one of Levo\u2019s secrets to success. Anya says you also have to create good relationships with your employees and clients, set short and long-term goals, be consistent and persevere.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou can have the best idea in the world, but if you never make a plan and do something every day to get it done, all it will ever be is an idea,\u201d said Anya Sleezer, founder of Levo.<\/p>\n
As a creative person, Anya likes to think outside the box. She finds her inspiration by going to quiet, inspiring places and brainstorming ideas on paper. She builds on the ideas with research and talking to friends, colleagues and other people she respects to try out the ideas and leverage their expertise. Then, she makes a plan to bring the idea to life, with daily, weekly and monthly goals, and follows it.<\/p>\n
She also says it\u2019s critical to be organized. As the CEO of a large organization, she couldn\u2019t use the traditional methods of managing projects. After some research, she found the web-based work management system, Asana.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s been great for my business. I can manage different teams, assign tasks, check progress, make sure everyone\u2019s on the same page, track all of the many projects going on at one time and more. It\u2019s been a lifesaver.\u201d<\/p>\n
Being organized allows Anya to stay out of the weeds and focus on the big picture.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m constantly looking at the business, how things are working, sales, services, and people, and pivoting direction as needed to keep things moving, thriving and profitable.
