Faced with a need for a new website that reflected my personal goals and was not just a page of words and photographs on a standard template, I turned to Levo, based in the Broken Arrow-Tulsa metropolitan area, for guidance. That was a good decision. Anya Sleezer and her team came to my rescue, listened to me, offered suggestions, drafted designs and worked with me to craft a beautiful website with multiple links, and then guided me through the maze of behind the scene steps to protect names and information, and then assisted in managing the site for the future.

BRANDING

We created a look and feel to encompass the depth and breadth of all of Dr. Oliver’s works and to better reflect him as an author, journalist, educator and historian. The use of sepia–toned, historic images of his life and the world at large were essential to the new brand. We selected a muted color palette that is often related to that of historic items, memorabilia and artifacts to evoke feelings of nostalgia and communicate the site’s historic significance.

We infused the new look and feel into his website to attract more
visitors and increase book sales.

DIGITAL

We designed a new, more encompassing website to include all of his written works as well as celebrate his accomplishments and life as a journalist and educator.
